A potted 7" Caladium Plant. These beautiful tropical plants are well known for their colourful foliage and make a great gift for any plant lover!
How to care for your new Caladium Plant:
LIGHT: Caladium plants prefer indirect light or moderate shade indoors. When growing them in a garden, give them partial shade to full shade; full sun scorches their leaves.
WATER: Do not allow these plants to dry out, keep the soil evenly moist - but not too wet. If you have planted your Caladium outdoors in your garden, it is recommended to stop watering when the leaves start to die and to resume watering when the leaves reappear next season.
TEMPERATURE: Caladium's thrive in a warm and more humid environment.
Additional Notes: Caladium's are tropical perennials that can be grown either indoors or outdoors in a garden. If you are planning on planting your new plant outdoors, we recommend growing it as an annual and digging the root up to store inside for the winter months.
Even under the best growing conditions, caladium foliage only lasts a few months before the leaves begin to die back, but it will grow back! These are quick growing tropicals and if cared for right, will come back year after year.
